There's no place like it. Puglia. A rural region loved for its olive tree plantations, breathtaking scenery, simple life, white cliff beaches also called The Maladives of Europe, and for its generous hospitality.

Helena Steurbaut of Art'Anna Weddings & Events, a talented heartfelt wedding planner who I love to work with, is known in the industry as an Italy Expert by now. Helena has a talent for understanding people's destination dream wedding. She is known for creating intimate wedding weekends in Italy, often including inspiring activities for the couple to enjoy together with their closest friends and family.

We both share a profound love of the country; I've travelled to Italy numerous times myself; and our visions resonate deeply and I can tell you... that's when magic happens.

I myself also love the atmosphere intimate weddings have, everything at a slow pace. The couple and their beloved ones really emerging in those moments of togetherness, celebrating the union of two people in love, two families bonding, all while they enjoy the beautiful land. There's simply so much to love about intimate destination weddings.

Before the pandemic I had the honor of traveling with her to the South of Italy, to Puglia, where we stayed in at a countryside a family owned Masseria near Ostuni ('The white city'). During our stay we discovered the region even more and we organized a wedding editorial that honors slow living, rural beauty, a very pure cuccina, the landscape and the history of the region.
